Committee Goals and Objectives
The Main Street Approach is a process though which the four points are integrated into a comprehensive program designed to build upon local opportunities and to build community self-reliance for business district economic development.
The Four Point Approach is a community driven, all-embracing methodology used to revitalize downtowns.
Design Committee: Its purpose is to get our downtown in top physical shape. Develop and implement a plan of action to achieve long term physical improvements in our downtown which respects historic building integrity and facilitates vibrancy of activity.
Organization Committee: Its objective is to promote awareness of our program, initiate and maintain support while working toward a common goal.
Promotions Committee: Its goal is to sell a positive image and promote downtown as a social gathering place and a vibrant area for shopping and entertainment.
Economic Restructuring Committee: Its function is to develop a sustainable strong central core that provides daily needs, unique specialty goods, and quality services that appeal to residents and travelers.
