They Shopped, They
Won!
Tommy Felts, Leslie
Herkelman and Anna Marie Hobbs sprung into action in the month of April
to ensure they would win while shopping local in downtown
Coffeyville--and they DID!
Anna Marie Hobbs - gift basket $100 value
For the month of April, Downtown Coffeyville Inc.
engaged the interest of 22 downtown, retail businesses to participate. The objective
was to shop downtown throughout the month of April. The shopper choosing to
spend money in participating businesses could ultimately win a package of
specialty items donated from all the participating
businesses.
One
of the goals of the Downtown Coffeyville Inc. Promotion Team is to promote the
downtown district and businesses. This initiative was the team's way of
promoting retail shopping downtown.
"The big picture is that we all truly win when people shop local.
When money stays in our community our local tax dollars support schools,
neighborhoods, roads, police & fire department, just to name a few," stated
Shelley Paasch, executive director for Downtown Coffeyville Inc. "In addition,
it also keeps us all working."
The mission of Downtown
Coffeyville Inc. is to strengthen the downtown economy and preserve the historic
character of its buildings. Visit www.downtowncoffeyville.org or
